Local time on May 7, 2015, the Spanish Customs officials found an
eight-year-old boy who was hidden in a suitcase to smuggle of a 19 year old
Moroccan woman, when they were immigration inspectionon entry at Ceuta, a Spanish enclave city in North Africa next to Morocco. Police learned that the boy from
the Ivory Coast, they suspected that the woman is not related to the boy, and
was paid by his family to carry the suitcase.
The
Moroccan woman in a hurry toavoid the security zone to across the border
checkpoint, made the police suspicious. At first they thought that there could
be drug packages, to put the luggage in security scanner, and then, to the
astonishment of the police, the computer displays the hiding in the luggage is
not a drug, but a human body.
While the boy was found after, he told to the police his name is Abou
in French. Police learned that the boy, Abou, fromIvory Coast, is not familiar
with the "Carrier" for bringing him to Spain, so the police suspect
that the womanwas likely to be paid the cost by the boy's family. The "Carrier"
has been arrested by the police.
